In a recent Charlotte Business Journal article, the latest Republican to join the race, Edwin Peacock, predicted that Jennifer Roberts will advance to the runoff stage of the Democratic Primary.
Peacock predicted Roberts and Howard will end up in a runoff for the Democratic nomination. Clodfelter lacks name recognition, and Barnes seems reluctant to pursue campaign donors, Peacock said.
